ED Invites Applications for FY2012 Award for Technical Assistance Center to Support Evidence-Based Practices

The Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, U.S. Department of Education, is inviting applications for a new award for fiscal year (FY) 2012 grant competition on Technical Assistance and Dissemination to Improve Services and Results for Children With Disabilities-Technical Assistance Center to Support Implementation of Evidence-Based Practices.

Applications became available on July 2, 2012, and the deadline for transmittal of applications is August 1, 2012. The purpose of the program is to promote the educational achievement of children with disabilities by providing technical assistance, supporting model demonstration projects, disseminating useful information, and implementing activities that are supported by scientifically based research.
