The U.S. Department of Education (ED) announced that it has launched version 2.0 of ED Data Express, an interactive Web site aimed at making accurate and timely K-12 education data available to the public. The upgraded site adds new data visualization tools, enhanced documentation, and social networking options for users. The website is designed to improve the public's ability to access and explore high-value state-level education data collected by the U.S. Department of Education and currently includes data from: EDFacts, Consolidated State Performance Reports (CSPR), State Accountability Workbooks, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), the National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP), the College Board, and the Department's Budget Service office.
