CSD Career Awareness Day Online Resources
This collaborative effort between NSSLHA and ASHA promotes the professions of audiology and speech-language pathology and raises awareness of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) as an option for high school or undergraduate students interested in a career in the health science field.
Why do we need CSD Career Awareness activities?
Throughout the year communication science and disorders departments from across the country invite high school and undergraduate students to their campuses to learn about the professions of audiology and speech-language pathology.
Students will attend sessions that explain the coursework and requirements to practice in the profession, meet students and professionals who share their day-to-day experiences, take a tour of the campus facilities, and participate in a hearing screening.
