Using Authentic Assessment When Evaluating the Language Skills of English Language Learners

The purpose of this web event is to introduce basic principles of authentic assessment and its significance in the evaluation of English Language learner's language skills. The discussion will include how to integrate qualitative data such as the results of an ethnographic interview, portfolio assessment and dynamic assessment with standardized test results. The integration of these will lead to an accurate diagnosis and the setting of appropriate goals, if indicated. During this live web event, these experts will be online to respond to questions:
