Personal Scheduler for the Convention Program
Welcome to the new and improved Personal Scheduler for the ASHA Convention program. Take advantage of this tool—it is designed to help you get the most from your Convention experience.
About the Scheduler
The Personal Scheduler is your personal planner and advance program for the Convention. The tool allows you to browse, search and sort all of the education sessions offered at the ASHA Convention—both oral seminars and poster presentations—to plan your agenda before arriving in San Diego, by creating your personalized daily schedule.
With access to our complete online database of Convention sessions, you can build (and re-build) your schedule as many times as you'd like. Once presenters upload their presentation materials, they will be linked to the specific session for you to download or print in advance.
How do I use the Personal Scheduler?
The Personal Scheduler is easy to use. You may search, sort and review sessions by a wide variety of options:
- Day
- Topic Area
- Author
- Instructional level
- Session format (Poster, Seminar – 1 Hour, etc.)
- Track (Associate, Student, Military, Technology, Cross Discipline, etc.)
- Keyword
Here's an example:
Enter "Autism" in the first keyword search box, and select "Search". A listing of every session with "Autism" in the title or abstract summary will appear in the search results display below. The word "Autism" will be highlighted in each session listed. Narrow down the results of your keyword search by using the choices in the filter search dropdown menus. For example, you may use the filters to view only intermediate-level poster presentations related to Autism on Saturday.
Create an Account
You may browse through sessions as much as you'd like, however, you will need to create an account to build a personalized itinerary. The account you create for the scheduler will be a new, unique account and is unrelated to your ASHA membership account. Creating an account will also allow you to save and revise your schedule at a later date. You may either download your schedule to your Outlook calendar or print it out. The printed version provides a brief schedule outline as well as the session specific information, including title, authors, summary and learning objectives, and more.
View Session Details
Select a session in the search results to open a pop-up box that provides the full details for that specific session. Then, simply select the "Add Session" button to move it to your personal schedule. (Remember, you will need to create an account to save a session to your own itinerary.)
Add Your Own Meetings or Events
You have the option to add your own meetings and events to your personal schedule, such as a committee meeting, dinner with a friend or participating in the Service Day project. Select the "Create Event" button in the Itinerary box to add your own information, and it will be saved to your schedule.
Once your personal itinerary is ready, you can download it to your Outlook calendar or print your own copy to bring to San Diego. Save valuable time on-site and create your schedule today!
