ASHA Convention Registration Fees
Registration fees cannot be adjusted retroactively once rate deadlines have passed. To ensure you will not be charged the higher rate, please make sure your registration is complete and submitted by the corresponding deadline.
Special Note for Presenters: Everyone—including all presenters—must register for the Convention at the appropriate membership status rate as listed below. Notifications of presentation acceptance and non-acceptance will be e-mailed in mid-July. If you are accepted as a Convention presenter and are not a member of ASHA (and not a speech-language pathologist or audiologist), please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a special registration form.
2014 Convention Registration Rates
Payment by check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover only). No purchase orders accepted.
New ASHA Member is an individual who has been a member of ASHA for less than four years.
Related professionals are individuals who do not belong to ASHA, are not audiologists or speech-language pathologists, and want to attend Convention for educational programs to enhance their professional knowledge (i.e., a special ed teacher, an occupational therapist, etc.).
International includes International member affiliates and members of the SAC, RCSLT, SPA, IALP, CPLOL, ISA, and SBFa.
A Guest is an accompanying person attending the Convention in a social capacity only. Guest registration allows for Exhibit Hall access only and does not include attendance at any education sessions (oral or poster).
To register at a member rate, you must indicate your membership number on the registration form. Please make sure that your dues are current. If they are not, your registration will be processed at the non-member registration fee. Students currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program may join NSSLHA and receive the NSSLHA member fee. Doctoral students who hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence may initiate their ASHA Graduate Student membership in order to receive the Graduate Student rate. One-day registration is available for purchase either online or onsite. The day you select to attend will be printed prominently on your badge. One-day badges will not be mailed; registrants may pick up their badge and materials at registration onsite after 3:00 p.m. the day before they are attending. This means if you plan to attend the Convention on Friday, you may pick up your badge and materials any time after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. If you register for one day onsite, please do not come to the registration area earlier than 3:00 p.m. the day before you plan to attend the Convention.
One-day registrants may only claim CEUs for sessions held on the day they selected to attend the Convention when registering.
You may purchase tickets to attend the pre-Convention sessions offered on Wednesday even if you do not plan to attend the Convention. In order to purchase tickets, however, you’ll still need to complete the Convention registration process. When you log into the registration system select the “Wednesday Only” registration option for $0, which will allow you to add tickets for the sessions being held on Wednesday. You will pay only for those sessions you select, and will not be registered for the ASHA Convention, which begins on Thursday.
Lunch in the Exhibit Hall
Tickets for boxed lunches cost $10.00 and may be purchased when registering online. Daily boxed lunch menus will be available when registration opens in August.

Checks (made payable to ASHA), VISA, MasterCard, and Discover are acceptable forms of payment. Purchase orders will not be accepted. Full payment must be received in order for registration to be processed. Registration is guaranteed only after VISA/MasterCard/Discover has been approved, or your check has cleared. If your credit card is declined or your check is returned, ASHA reserves the right to cancel registration if an alternate approved payment is not supplied.
Please be advised that ASHA is not responsible for checks or letters lost or delayed in the mail, or fax transmittals that are not received and/or are illegible.
Note: If you fax your registration, do not also mail the registration form. Doing so may result in duplicate charges to your credit card.
All attendees who register online will receive a receipt/confirmation via e-mail upon completion of the registration process and payment. Please make sure to add email@example.com to your preferred contact list in your e-mail program.
If you need to cancel your registration, we must have your request in writing. You must send your written notice of cancellation, via e-mail, to firstname.lastname@example.org or via postal mail to:

Cancellation requests received before November 1 will be refunded, less a $50 processing fee, prior to the Convention. All cancellations and refunds will be processed in the same manner as original payment: if paid by credit card the refund will be issued to the card on record, generally within 72 hours of the request. Payments made by check will be refunded as a check and may take up to 30 days to process. Lunch and special event tickets are nonrefundable after November 1. Any cancellation request received after November 1 will be refunded AFTER the Convention, less a $75 fee.
The cancellation fee is a processing fee and cannot be waived.
Badges and Contact Information
Name badges will be issued to all registered attendees and are required to enter all areas of the Convention. Badges are generated based upon the information provided on your registration form, so please be sure to indicate your name and organization as you would like it to appear on your badge. You will have the opportunity to preview and edit your badge information during the online registration process.
Correspondence, including your registration confirmation and receipts, will be sent to the e-mail address provided on the registration form. Badges (if you selected to have it mailed in advance) will be mailed to the address you provide on your registration form.

Certificates of Attendance
Certificates of Attendance are available to all attendees. To retrieve your certificate, complete the online CEU/attendance reporting process. As soon as you have finished, you will be able to print your certificate.
ASHA does not sell the contact information of Convention registrants. We do provide some information to exhibiting companies for their marketing purposes; they are entitled to one contact either before or after the Convention. You may opt out of sharing your information with Convention Exhibitors during the registration process. Please note that doing so does not remove you from any lists that may be managed by ASHA Marketing. To remove yourself from these lists, you must call the Action Center at 800- 498-2071.
