Administrative Assistant, Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clusters

Salary Range (Non-Negotiable):  $44,507–$49,452

FLSA Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Description

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support for the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology clusters. Priority is placed on efficient communication, organization, and coordination of work necessary to support the effective functioning of the two units.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting projects and managing workflow for two units (18 staff)
  • Gathering materials and preparing shipping to multiple destinations and events
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies as needed
  • Preparing and processing requisitions and expenses through the accounting system (Agresso)
  • Researching prices and vendors to order giveaways and special supplies
  • Preparing/enhancing presentations, spreadsheets, letters, certificates, and other documents
  • Coordinating logistics for internal and external meetings
  • Supporting staff with troubleshooting and training on Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Setting up filing systems and maintaining records on internal network
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting issues with telephones, copiers, and computers and contacting technical support as needed

Qualifications

Knowledge Typically Acquired Through

  • AA or BA degree and 2–4 years of related experience

Scope and Depth of Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • demonstrated skills in use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ability to assist staff with program applications
  • excellent typing, proofreading, spelling, and grammar skills
  • experience using Microsoft SharePoint a plus
