Ordering an Official Transcript

After placing your order, an official transcript should arrive via mail in 7–10 business days. If you have a voucher available, it will automatically be applied when your order is placed.

Mailing delays occur if a Registry fee has not been paid during your requested timeframe or if an activity has not yet been recorded on your transcript.

Payment delay: If you owe a transcript fee, your transcript will not be sent until the applicable fee has been paid. After the fee is paid, it will arrive via mail in 7–10 business days.

CE activity not recorded: Time varies. Providers have up to 45 days from activity's end date to submit participant information. Once here, processing time can take up to 4 weeks. At certain times of the year, processing and posting time may be longer due to heavy volume.

What is on the ASHA CE transcript?

Your computerized transcript includes the date, title, course description, Provider code, subject code, instructional level, content codes, and the number of ASHA CEUs. 

How much does a transcript cost?

When you pay your annual ASHA CE Registry fee [PDF], you will be credited with an electronic voucher for a free transcript. When you make a transcript request, your oldest voucher is used. If a voucher is unavailable, transcripts will cost $15 each/members and $20 each/non-members. 

When/where are transcripts sent?

Transcripts are printed upon your request and should be sent to the address indicated on the order. Transcripts can be sent to a third party, such as a licensing or certification agency, or employer, etc.

How are transcripts sent?

Official transcripts are sent via postal mail and usually take 7–10 business days arrive. Official transcripts cannot be sent via e-mail.

You can request to have an Official Transcript to be faxed or sent via 1-day mail. These orders must be placed with an Action Center representative. They can be reached by calling 800-498-2071. There is a $45.00 fee to have an official transcript faxed and a $75.00 fee to have an official transcript sent via 1-day mail. The applicable fee must be paid at the time that the order is placed.
