The ASHA CE Registry Transcript

What Is the ASHA CE Transcript?

The ASHA CE transcript is a record of the ASHA Continuing Education Units (CEUs) awarded by the ASHA CE Registry and provides information about the courses completed for ASHA CEUs. ASHA CE Registry users can share it with ASHA Certification, state licensing boards, credentialing boards, and employers as documentation of your professional development.

The ASHA CE transcript includes information about the courses you completed—such as

  • course titles,
  • offering end dates,
  • the number of ASHA CEUs awarded,
  • course descriptions,
  • subject codes,
  • instructional level,
  • content area, and
  • course type.

The transcript is available only to those who pay the CE Registry fee for the year and who indicate that they want to earn ASHA CEUs when they take courses offered by ASHA Approved CE Providers. The CE Registry exclusively awards ASHA CEUs (not other credit types awarded by any other organization). Therefore, only ASHA CEUs are documented on the ASHA CE Transcript. If you take a course that does not offer ASHA CEUs, check with the organization that offered the course to see what type of credit is available.

ASHA Approved CE Providers who offer courses for ASHA CEUs have up to 45 days after the course ends to report your course completion information. If you notice that a course is missing from your transcript, follow these steps to troubleshoot.

You are not required to use the ASHA CE Registry for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) renewal. Please visit the CCC Maintenance webpages, or email certification@asha.org for more information.
