ASHA Offers Grants for State Association Student Advocacy Initiatives
Eligibility
A onetime grant of $1,000 is available to state associations interested in developing/increasing student participation in state advocacy day activities.
Awards
Grants will be awarded to state associations (that have not previously received this award from ASHA) based on the application, budget allocation information, and agreement signature by the state association president. Results of the review team will be final. All funds are to be expended for advocacy day activities conducted in 2014 and projects will not be considered finished until the Student Advocacy Day Activities Final Report and Expenses Form (including receipts) are completed and submitted to ASHA. These reports and receipts are due within 60 days of the completion of your advocacy event(s) or October 31, 2014, whichever comes first.
