Meet Your PAC Board

Doanne Ward-Williams is a bilingual speech-language pathologist and owner of TheraPlay Bilingual Solutions, LLC where she works with English and Spanish-speaking preschoolers. She is also the owner of Carolina Speech Consultants, PLLC where she provides services in accent modification and business communication to professionals locally and around the world via telecommunication. She is a member of the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology & Audiology, a member of the convention planning committee for the North Carolina Speech, Hearing, Language Association, and the past treasurer and current convention co-chair for the National Black Association for Speech- Language and Hearing. She lives with her husband in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Doanne, why do you love ASHA-PAC?

I love ASHA-PAC because it gives me an opportunity to bring a voice to my patients' stories that otherwise Congress may never hear. We are able to inform Congress of the impact their decisions have on their constituents through the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology. I love the ability to advocate for those that are unable to speak for themselves!
