CAA Modifies Annual Report Submission Time Lines
Implementation Date: May 1, 2009
The Council on Academic Accreditation in
Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) has revised the
expected timing for annual report submissions by programs.
Effective
May 1, 2009, Annual Reports now will be submitted to the CAA in either
February or August, based on the program's accreditation
anniversary date.
This change is being made to align the
online submission of
accreditation reports
(annual reports and accreditation applications) through the HES
and is in response to feedback received from the academic program
community.
The change in reporting time lines and its
effective date:
support the CAA's launch of the
Annual Report module through the HES, anticipated August 1,
2009; and
make consistent the CAA report due
dates for programs.
A program's anniversary date will determine
when reports will be due, as outlined below. CAA's current
submission expectations for Applications for (Re)Accreditation
were similarly modified in 2002 and follow the same assigned due
dates as Annual Reports.
Due Date
for programs with anniversary dates in the months
of:
|
February 1 |
August 1 |
November |
May |
December |
June |
January |
July |
February |
August |
March |
September |
April |
October |
Please note:
As this reporting realignment does not go into effect until May
1, 2009, all programs due to submit an annual report through
April 2009 should continue to file its annual report on its
regular due date using current procedures.
Questions should be directed to the Accreditation Office at
accreditation@asha.org.
