Be a Subject Expert for Local Media

Since The King's Speech movie was released, have you noticed an increase in speech-language therapy requests? Take our poll!

Given the high interest in Gabrielle Giffords' situation as well as the excitement around The King's Speech, ASHA is providing these media advisory templates for members' use to position themselves as subject experts with their local media.

It's recommended that these templates should be used only by those members who are comfortable communicating with the media and are in a position professionally to discuss speech and language rehab therapy and/or fluency and stuttering.
