Liaisons with the Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

Committee Charge

Identify vacancies on the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology to be filled in a given year; solicit nominations for such vacancies from accredited academic programs, appropriate ASHA committees and boards, and other related groups; select two persons as nominees for each vacant position; submit the slates of nominees for academic member vacancies to accredited educational programs for vote and determine the voting results; submit the slates of nominees for practitioner member vacancies to the ASHA Board of Directors which shall select persons from those slates to fill such vacancies by whatever process the Board of Directors may determine to be appropriate, and select a person to fill a public member vacancy, if any.
